NT05R hands down, first SRT that walks you, you will wish you had them. 28psi and your set . They wont last as long but at $550 for two, not that bad . Michelins will spin easy, no comparison and cost more.
How are they in the rain though? Cooler weather? NT05R seems more like a drag radial or track tire.

MPS4S is the best street tire you can buy. Period. Any tire that has more grip than it will compromise on either wet handling, tread life, or both.

R888R's. They seem to be doing the best.

Well that’s what I figured. As I said in a previous post, if it’s good enough to be standard on a supercharged 700+ hp GT500, it should be fine.
NT05R and R888R are great drag radials, but you’ll be driving extremely slow in the rain. I heard of one guy who got caught in a rain storm with R888R’s and crashed. He was careful too.

The R888R is NOT a drag radial. It is a street legal R-comp road racing tire.

I switch between the factory MPS4S tires and a set of R888R's on the rear of my car now.

My mistake, I guess it’s like the NT05R and 555R. The same thing applies though, they’re terrible in inclement weather. Well maybe not so much the 555R. I hear those are decent in the wet.
