Like the title says. At first the Cancel/Resume button was not working. Recently it would not turn on consistently after pushing the On button. Once time it was working fine and then when into Cancel mode by itself and I could not turn it off.

Any Ideas? Does any one know if there is a module for the cruise control, or where it is located, so that maybe I can check for a loose connection?

could be a clutch position sensor
Is that adjustable? I did have the master cylinder replaced under warranty about 3 months ago.

Use your dead pedal?
Could be electrical or a mechanical gremlin
Any play at the top of the through?
Clutch spring been swapped?

Use the dead pedal all the time.
No play.
Steeda spring swapped over 2 years ago.

I will check the clutch sensor. When the clutch master was on its way out the pedal would not return to the top, and that prevented CC from being turned on. As soon as I pulled the pedal back up, I had full throw, and the CC could be turned on.

So none of that is pertinent to the current situation?

I thought you said you had no mods from stock...

Yea exactly I'm positive that's his issue. The clutch position sensor is probably thinking the clutch is engaged even when it's at the top of the travel.

I don't remember if the Mustang's OBD PIDs track the clutch pedal position. If so, it should be easy to see what the car thinks the clutch pedal position is.
