I like to disassemble things.
It'll whine under load, not so much when the car isn't moving.

I wonder if that exhaust will pass California law?
probably but people still get pulled over mistakenly for factory exhausts in CA...

That is true. I got pulled over in 1998 when I was driving my 67 Mustang with 32" glasspacks. I was let go with an apology. At least with this car, you can switch it over to quiet mode before pulling over to the side of the road. :like:

R&T should know better. if your giving sound bites for comparison...hit the same RPM. in normal/sport it's one level, then in "track" whoa...redline! best exhaust comparisons for purchase is American Muscle. check out there presentation...R&T, and I get your mag. dman

Looks like the GT active exhaust but with a double walled tip sleeve welded on, since on other photos you can see the open ended rears of the double wall tip hanging pretty far down from the regular exhaust pipe. Wonder if it is really a cosmetically modified active performance GT cat back, since the muffler before the tips look almost identical to my base GT active exhaust.

The GT350R sound louder. That thing is deafening when stomped on.

Even things up by removing the GT500's resonators and I sense you'd be just as impressed. My guess is that'll be one of the most popular mods early on.

Like most here, I read that article when it came out. As I said, removing the GT500 resonators will bring results similar to removing them on a non-R GT350, regardless of the ambiguous yammering authored in the linked article.
