I put in a pre-order in for Variant Xenon wheels in bronze, while I'm waiting for them to be made and shipped out to me (late June) I'm trying to figure out the best tire size to match the wheels for an aggressive/flush to fender look.

The front wheels are 19x10 +20 offset, and the rear wheels are 19x11 +30 offset, I'm partial to Indy 500 tires and I was thinking of getting 275/35/19 fronts and 285/35/19 rears.

A couple people are telling me to stick to 40 sidewall (NY roads can be real bad here and there). I have 255f 275r/40/19 on my GT PP wheels, but will 40 sidewall tires rub on my lowered car if I go with wider tires (ie 275/40/10 front and 285/40/19 rear)? Should I go wider with the rear tires? Get a different brand of tire? This is a car that mostly sees the street with a track visit 1-2x a year. :computerrage:

Edit: Fixed offsets I had them reversed originally.

TBH, Those rears are going to look hella stretched compared to the fronts. If you want the rear stretch to match the front you should get a wider 295 or even a 305.

I have 19x10 +35 offset up front and 19x11 +50 offset on the rear. I run 285/35 & 325/30 rear. Are you sure the 19x11 you ordered are +20 offset?

With that +20 rear offset, the wheels will stick out A LOT. A typical 11" offset is +50 to +52 to fit under the rear quarter panel. As far as tire sizes go, for most tires, 285/35R19 and 305/35R19 would be a best fit on those wheels.

I checked my invoice and confirmed offsets are +20 front and +30 rear, the vendor and I we're basing it off these wheels/this post on Facebook.

Front will work ok, will stick out a bit too, but the rear will look really silly. There's no way that +20 fits under the quarter panels without ridiculous camber. I seriously doubt that picture is 11" with +20.

Ok this is embarrassing I misspoke about which wheels have which offset, here's my invoice it's +20 fronts and +30 rears. Will that be OK?

Better...but they will still poke significantly at both ends, worse at the rear. You could have someone mill 10 mm off the face of each and be in half decent shape.

For a proper flush look, what should my offset be for 10inch front wheels and 11 rears?

+35 front and +50 rear is the offset that works the best, from what I've seen. That's my choice of offset too.

This. +40 front works too with a tire 285 and narrower (generally). +35/+50 is going to be about the best though.

Sorry to revive my old thread but I figured it's better than making a new one,

My current wheels are GTPP (9in wide +45 and 9.5in +52.5 rear) w/ 25mm spacers, if I'm doing the math right my effsticef offset is +20 front and +28.5 rear.

Based on this info the front wheels (19x10 +20) would be sticking out about 13mm more and the rear wheels (19x11 +30) would stick out about 17mm more my current setup .

I trust the guy making these offsets for a very aggressive setup, but I wanted some forum input.

Those "will they fit" calculations look right. The current wheels are not already flush with the 25mm spacers?

The rear is already flush, I think the fronts could be a little further out.
