How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

Just purchased my first Mustang with Roush Stage 1. (700 hp), 401A , 10 speed, painted stripes, lowering springs, beefed up rear half shafts, carbon fiber hood and much more and I’m 67! Age is just a number. Like Mark Twain said, “age is just mind over matter...if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”.

57 years old, ordered my GT April 2018 and picked it up July 25th. Reliving my youth as I had a '70 Mach 1 in high school and for several years afterwards. This Mustang is a huge improvement in so many ways!

Looks like I'm in very good company with the group in this thread.

67 here. My 19 GT/CS is my 1st V8 since my 66 Fairlane GTA 390. Been waiting a long time. Now retired, this is my first "toy". And how i love it.

Just turned 68 this month. Where has the time gone? Been a Mustang fan since HS. Owned a number of Mustangs. Still own my 68 GT350. I bought a 17 Mustang GT with PP, added Steeda's Stop the Hop kit, replaced the resonator with an X pipe, and installed Roush hood lifts. I suppose I get looks especially when my 23 year girl friend is sitting next to me....

2017 GT PP (FRP/Roush/VMP blower, currently under the knife for a VMP TB, Whipple HE, and full Kooks front to rear)
2009 Saturn Sky Redline (mods I won't bother to list here since it's a GM but will embarrass most of the cars above, especially if there's turns involved)

As a senior citizen I'm curious-how many other old guys are buying Mustang GTs? When I traded in my E350 (for my 19 GT) the look on the salesman's face was priceless.
I'm wondering how much of an anomaly I might be and if not, how many other "older enthusiasts" are enjoying their GTs?
I get questions constantly at the car wash (typically from Audi and Beemer owners) "Sir is that your car? How do you like it?" Translation - why the hell is an oldtimer like you driving that?
It's simple - you're never too old to enjoy a well balanced platform that brings a smile to your face each time you press that button. The active exhaust simply enhances the experience.

I'm "only" 66 and bought my GT in May of 2016. Worked my way through all three of the Ford Performance power packs and went FI in January. Added some Steeda suspension parts, MGW shifter, and fat tires all around. Drive it daily 24 miles one way to work. Love it so much I'm selling my motorcycle. It's tough having an 18 year old brain in an almost 67 year old body!

Count me in. I'll be 65 in November and love my mustang gt. I told a neighbor it makes me smile every time I start it and he said he smiles every time I start it. Great to be a senior as I can also sit around in the middle of the day drinking good bourbon.

It sounds like quite a few old guys are buying this car
Driving it reminds me of the Harley but, with heated and cooled seats and more horsepower.
There is a nostalgic connection with this car to our youth and our roots when American muscle cars were king.
Oh wait ~ looks like they still are

I am 75 knocking on 76 My GT Premium is 6 speed with a 3:55 rear end ratio. Active exhaust, jacking rails and a few other goodies.

PS: I'm not old till I vapor lock.
