I can confirm it is not a genuine 350 front end.

The stamped spoiler might be as there was a bit of faffing around underneath to get it all to fit.

If you look at a genuine 350 the bumper comes up behind the headlight. Mine, like a standard car, just butts up against the wing.

that would make sense but its also impressive work from the bodyshop as the 350 bumper is about 2 inches wider than the gt bumper so the splitter would be wider so they've some how managed to bend/force/warp it to fit without it looking off. thats some impressive work.

Well now I feel silly. I did look again at the photo after I posted last & saw what you were saying about the headlights, bit of a giveaway when you look at an actual gt350.

Come on then, more photos :camera:

Can't be a genuine one then. But it IS one-piece with Shelby stamped into it. :D

350 wings are wider and protrude from the headlight sides, it’s clearly just a replica bumper come on! There’s a guy with a yellow Stang on instagram who’s just had a whole GT350 front end including wings, bonnet, front slam panel, bumper etc shipped over from a written off car in the US, now that’s gotta be big bucks even for used parts.

yeah it was more of who the hell is selling a shelby stamped front splitter to fit a GT width bumper as I've never seen any replicas selling obvious shelby one piece stamped splitters

Three pieces can be made into one easily with a bit of fibreglass

not the case in this one though look at the close up picture its raw textured polyprop you'd notice a fibreglass join a mile away.

It’s probably a one piece item but you can join, smooth and add Matte textured paint to get the same finish quite easily if need be

Not if you've got a good fiberglass repair shop, you'd be hard pressed to see the pieces my splitters in or it's joins (albeit, it's been painted and flatted over rather than some plasti texture stuff).

You guys realise the easiest one to do is "stamp" in SHELBY rather than merge 3 pieces right?

So if somebody's friend wanted to stamp Shelby into their splitter how might they go about it. The friend that is...

So here you go, as promised...

The parts are from Vehicle Revolution in London. But were probably made by someone with worse eyesight than Stevie Wonder!

The fit of every single part was shocking. MY bodyshop spent in excess of AN EXTRA TWENTY HOURS making new brackets and jigging everything about to get it to look even remotely respectable.

Wheels were refurbed in matt black:

Stripped down after being assured the arrival of the parts was imminent:

Spent weeks like that due to Vehicle Revolution blaming everything from customs taking issue with the Shelby stamp on the spoiler to Brexit! (Yes they really did use that as an excuse).

Trial fitting of parts (all seemed ok at this point):

Parts were painted and then the real work began:

The following pics you can see just how bad the fit is on this kit. When the bodyshop first fitted the wings they were literally touching the bonnet, that's how far out of alignment they were:

As you can see, none of the angles were in line and the fit of the bumper to the wing was absolutely shocking. I was thoroughly pissed off at this point.

My bodyshop spent a whole load more hours on it and now it looks fab!
