I'm not sure this is correct. Why wouldn't the dealer still need a Mustang allocation regardless of engine?
Yup, asking that same question myself...

I believe the order banks are already open.Do we know when we'll be able to order the 2020MY?
Looks pretty good in Kona Blue with out the stripes."Euro" spec spotted in Michigan (not my photos, I saw them on FB)
Try to order a regular GT with the PP2 and get back to me on that.As far as I know, you can go to any Ford dealer and order a Mustang except the Bullitt, GT350, and GT500 which require an allocation.
Does this mean my Ford dealer can already order a 2020MY for me? ThanksI believe the order banks are already open.
They're able to order vehicles for stock at the moment. I would think they can order one for you as well. If the first guy says "No", call around a bit.Does this mean my Ford dealer can already order a 2020MY for me? Thanks
No. While all three of those cars require an allocation, a standard mustang does as well, regardless of trim levels. While there are no allocations for specific packages (for example, there are no "allocations" for a PP2 car), there are commodity restrictions from time to time for certain packages based on parts availability. While everyone like to say "See! MagneRide shortages!", these restrictions can also apply to more mundane items. As an example, back around March, people couldn't order 401A cars for a short time as there were not enough hand-stitched console covers. As far as I know, you can go to any Ford dealer and order a Mustang except the Bullitt, GT350, and GT500 which require an allocation.
No. That's a test car.Does the above photo means the HP 2.3 EBM is on dealer lots already?!
