You should probably get rid of the forged wheels and use the carbon fiber ones. Seems like a waste to have the carbon fiber wheels just sitting around. From everything I've read, they are the biggest difference between the GT350 and R version, and they are what makes the R so amazing to drive.
I track both sets of wheels... (One has Cup 2's and the other MP4S).

There is a reason why I have my MP4S tires on the CF wheels. Just look up some of the threads I started re: wheel failures.

What tire size are you running with the MP4S (as they don't come in the G305-30-19 or 315-30-19 standard R size) for the stock R carbon fiber wheels ? I need to swap out the Cup 2's and find an alterative the works better for daily driving and road trips.

You can do the 305/325 combo that they offer - that's what I did and I think it looked good and it drove fine. I've heard that the 295/305 in the MPS4S is actually closer to the SC2 OEM sizes - so if you want it to be stockish, you can do that. I'll try to post a pic of mine.

305's on all corners (MP4S) on CF wheels

The R's are very nice. I love the wing. Tires and all, as many have said, it is the sum of its parts. I could have gotten a R....A deal was in place, but I decided to get the GT350. Even with that vehicle, I have yet to push it to its limits....so for me, the R was truly overkill. Do I regret it...nope. The GT350 is more than enough car for me, and still is one of the best driving vehicles I have ever owned.
