What do you all use for in waistband? Currently I'm using the alien gear, but wondering what else you all may reccomend.
I conceal a S&W .40 shield

I used a Crossbreed Supertuck to carry a 1911 for years before I moved to Wyoming. After that, it was all OWB carry. Now that I've developed back problems and live in FL, I need a new carry rig to carry something lighter. A buddy of mine likes AlienGear but I'm considering a StealthGear Ventcore. They are expensive but if it's as comfortable as everyone says it is, I may have to drop the coin.

JM Custom Kydex AIWB holsters. I bought Alien Gear early in my CCW times - they look like plastic toys, not like real holster (Shapeshifts) and are nowhere near being as concealable as good holster should be (IMO of course).

Galco is also a good choice, I have one for my Smith 9.

Left alien for Tulster and never looked back. There’s a gazillion kydex makers out there and IMO, they’re all the same. Sure, they all have their own fancy spin on why theirs isn’t different or better, but it’s splitting hairs.

I’ve tried several, but come back to the Crossbreed Supertuck.

Ahhh... I remember the days when I lived in Texas and could legally carry my Glock 36. Still have TX and UT CHLs. As useless as a democrat to me now.

I also have a shield. Crossbreed holsters are very nice.
