As for the exhaust we'll see. Like I said before I do stuff like this to learn. Guess it's time to learn how to weld stainless.
You could always go the easy route and just get some stainless wire for a mig. I have always used that approach. Hasn't failed me yet.

How's everyone's progress? I have sold my TT kit, BUUUUT that doesn't mean I am out the game. I will just be along for everyone else's ride until I am reunited with my car.

Man this thread is crazy informative. Love it.

Just shows that I may never get a turbo or supercharger kit for my V6 because it seems like you need to understand alot more then I do!

Great pics and info though guys!

I've finished welding the passenger side down pipe. I will not be posting any pictures lol. I'm definitely going to have to get one made professionally once I get the car running. It should get me to the shop at least. So except for tapping the pan the passenger side is 100%

Exactly! All going into my 1970 Mustang. Engine is a 429 with ported heads, lunati cam, 10.5:1 compression. Hoping to be making around 500hp 500tq on pump gas. Trans is a toploader of course (we will see how long it survives).

My man! My dream is to do a restomod on a 68 Coupe using a 4.6 Terminator Engine.

Always wanted to build a mod motor... I have a 4v 4.6 sitting in the garage torn apart along with alot of parts (cams, oil pump, etc...) from a 5.8 shelby that just so happens to fit.... One day it will go back together. Actually have a coyote crank as well for it (yes it will fit with minor machine work). The end product would be a 289 4v "high performance" with likely around 380-400 hp NA.

Another project I would love is a 1980s Toyota MR2 rebuild using the 89 supercharged engine variant.

Question: any reason I can’t give my buddy the 72lb injectors out of a Whipple kit for his Procharger V6 and E85 project? 17U-00-0072-8 is the part number, but it seems like everyone is using 16U-00-0065-6.

The 16U-00-0065-6 the same height as the stock v6 injectors. I've read conflicting information on whether the taller ones used on the coyote can fit under the intake manifold on the v6. If they do fit you will need a different tune because the 16U-00-0065-6 are 65lb.
