Only downside of the premium is that the leather kinda sucks, it wears and rips easily.
Another way to think about it, is that yes you may pay more for it now but you will also get more for it when/if you sell.
Personally I would get the base and use the rest of the money for mods or track days. $4k will get you a lot of track days.
my 08 was premium and my 17 is base GT, I miss the premium and it will come back to ya when ya sell.Get base if all you want is the driving experience.
Get premium if creature comforts and technology is important to you.
/End of thread.
Holy cow get a load of this guy. Sorry, you're wrong. Quickly add me to your ignore list too please!Site ford please and not a forum. You are wrong. Another person to add to my bad info ignore list. Site is full of them.
Gratefully done. You are absolutely wrong.Holy cow get a load of this guy. Sorry, you're wrong. Quickly add me to your ignore list too please!
How would you know future condition of S550 equipped with leather. My car is four years old and the leather still looks new. If you beat a car with a hammer all the time it will look like SH!t from there on. If you have no respect for your cars interior then future values will drop like a rock.Only downside of the premium is that the leather kinda sucks, it wears and rips easily.

Once again, cite, not site, and Ford was cited directly from an order guide in the link I posted.Gratefully done. You are absolutely wrong.
Aaaand you cannot site Ford. Your opinion is less than worthless.
I have a base GT. I spent the extra on a Supercharger. Butt coolers don't work that great, I still have Sync 3 and the drive modes are unlimited with my left foot and right arm. I have leather in my truck and it isn't that great compared to never burning my legs or arms on hot days upon first getting in. Some people won't miss a Premium. Active exhaust has issues and errors, so does digital dash which for me just doesn't fit the car, better in a Tesla or something. Magnaride could be a deal breaker though, if you can get one anymore this year. Lots of decisions. The Whipple never disappoints though. If it's a daily: Sync 3, drive modes, and butt coolers. All must have features for me. Don't let anyone get you down on how much the "leather sucks" either. They are damn comfortable over long distances.
By the time I would want heated seats, my car is stored for the winter. You couldn't drive it in the winter here, even with snow tires. To me that is stupid. The heated seats are a real treat if this is a daily driver. Driving home after a rough day at work with the heat on is really nice. I have this in all my cars. Like a heat pad.
Completely true.Wrong. Both are leather, yes, but it’s not the same type. The 401a of the 18+ Mustangs uses the full-grain leather of the “premier interior trim” option of the 15-17 models. You can visually see the difference in pictures.
Read through a previous discussion about it here: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/opinion-on-b-o-system-and-401a-leather-on-2019.117674/page-3
Take note of the pictures on page 3 and the link in the last post which quotes the original order guide regarding the “premier trim” option from the 15 model year.
