Cannot update to Sync 3 (2016 GT)

I've tried via wifi with both a Hotspot and solid connection.

Since I don't have a PC, I can't go the USB route. I tried a Mac based download, but even with unzipping the files, it didn't work.

I read that the 16 Premiums could upgrade to version 3. Unless that was misinformation.

Any info is great!

You can update it, I have a 2016 as well and I updated it and now have android auto.
I guess you need someone with a PC to put the files on a USB or maybe go to the library or something lol

Yeah, I'm gonna run over to fedex or the library and borrow their PC.
