GT500 isn't going to be any higher revving than a 5.0L, so not advantage, and optimized for boost rather than NA.

Realistically anyone going through the expense and effort to do cams is better of with a Cobra Jet manifold, as it'll wax the 18 and GT350 manifolds above 8000 rpm.
I agree, the Cobra jet is still the king, it's just a fact.

I think a BOSS 351 would be better.
Well that’s another retro that hasn’t surfaced yet - so that could also be a possibility.

As much as I love the Boss (a friend has one and I was lucky enough to drive it, and we did a small European tour in it)....the Boss has been done and the GT350 effectively replaced it as the track-ready option. The '12/'13 beautifully replicated the '69/'70 model years so, in my opinion, they should leave the Boss name alone.

And they're not going to stretch the Coyote to 5.7 litres, so a 351 isn't on the cards either.

I'm still dreaming it's a 5.2 cpc n/a Mach 1

The Boss 302 still has a very relevant place in the S550 lineup as a special edition bare bones V8 performance Mustang.

The GT350 has a lot of premium elements to it that drive up the price. A Boss could still offer them but as upgrades just as the 2012/2013 did and start it around 40k.

Performance:
Gen 3 Coyote with GT350 intake upgrades for marketing purposes
MT82
PP Brakes
PS4S tires
3.73 gears

Exterior:
Unique front fascia, GT500 rear bumper, unique wheels, unique Boss 302 badging/stripes.

Interior:
Base radio
Boss 302 branded Cloth seats

Upgrades:
MagnaRide
Cloth Recaros
Sync 3
Torsen Diff

Give it the GT350 brakes and tremec and I'm in. I don't even need the 5.2, just let me have a Coyote with that trans and those brakes and I'll be happy

So it's a Bullitt with a different look. That's pointless.

IMO, a real Boss 302 would start from a PP Level 2, and would have a Gen 3 Coyote with GT350-like cams to actually take advantage of that manifold (unlike the Bullitt engine). It'd also have a 4.09 rear gear because the MT-82 D4 gearing sucks.

Agree big time. I missed that he said PS4S tires rather than PSC2. I'd be okay with just a GT350 intake manifold and a more aggressive tune to go with it, I really don't think the car needs any more power than the Bullitt. But if it could basically be a PP2 with coolers, and either GT350 brakes or a Tremec (if not the Tremec, then like you said, 4:09 rear gears), I'd be first in line to buy

I don't see the point of the GT350 manifold over the '18 manifold w/o cam changes. That's based on data/dyno runs. An '18 manifold with the GT350 airbox would perform identically to the Bullitt, more or less.

For marketing purposes alone. That's just what I could forsee them doing, not exactly what I WANT them to do. Personally, I'd be okay with no power bump, but I feel like they'd sell more being able to show off that extra power

Ford’s gotta also offer a A10

A Boss or Mach 1 with the PP2 package, Intake, cams and a aggressive tune?

Wow, would that be a 1/4 mile terror

A legit 11.50 off the showroom monster that can still carve corners too.

A GT350, Bullitt and PP2 is luxury compared to what a Boss 302 was/should be. The Boss 302 is a stripper model with the bare bones interior in order to allocate those funds into performance.

I did not include coolers because oil and transmission coolers require unique front bumpers and fenders. After reviewing the rolling footage of this mysterious new package. It has wider front fenders, turn signals placed higher on the bumper and camo where the intakes for cooler air channels would be . After taking this into consideration I have made some changes to what I think a 2021 Boss 302 would look like.

Revised 2021 Boss 302

Pricing
A 300A GT starts at 34,950.
A 300A GT PP1 starts at 38,945.
A 301A GT PP2 starts at 43,450. (PP2 requires 301A, a $2,000 package, which would not come on a base Boss 302)
A base Boss 302 could start at 46,140. (MY2012 Boss 302 MSRP adjusted for 2019 is ~47,650.)
A 900A GT350 starts at 59,140.
