Hey ya'll,

I just got my TSP LTH installed with a Corsa Extreme catback. As some of you will know, this setup is loud enough to wake the dead. I have not had this system installed a day and I'm already receiving complaints. Personally, I love the way it sounds, but my consideration for other people still exists..lol that said, I wanted to know if there were better options to tone down the volume. My options are to go back to my Magnaflow competition catback (which were previously installed with a rez delete and stock manifolds) or add in another muffler within the system to tone down the volume.

Thanks in advance!

There's a reason I have the Corsa Sport and Vibrant 1794's. Sounds really good when paired with headers. Very controllable loudness.

You could also try adding some resonators to your current setup to tone it down some, but the Extreme is going to be brutal always.

Do you happen to have a sound clip of the sport paired with 1794s?

I can work on getting you one. Even the sport by itself with catless headers is pretty good overall. The 1794's just refine it a bit more.

I could certainly appreciate it, cause I would definitely think about going that route

I see you're in MO too lol if I wanted to add cats I'd likely have to replace my headers with hi flows..and I don't want to pay to do that again unfortunately lol

ARH Catted LTH to Corsa Xtreme. Added a pair of 1794s and it did the trick.

I saw your post from last year, I meant to get ahold of you last night but didn't get approved until this morning. Do you by chance have a sound clip? I saw the welds at the axle back of the 1794s..they look really nice and clean!

Obviously vids don't tell the whole story but hopefully give some idea.

If I could do it over would have just started with the Sport but adding the Vibrants to the Xtreme is a viable work around.

Yeah that exhaust sounds amazing with stock cats and headers. With LTs or catless it's just noise. I'm happier overall with the Sport (had the Xtreme for about 6 months). It's a deeper, more refined tone, but still has the Corsa music at high rpm.
