Is there any way to change from radio preset page 1, 2, or 3 using the steering wheel? With my T-rex arms and having to take my eyes off the road for a second to hit the presets button on the right side of the nav has been bugging me for way too long. I want to just hit next channel on the wheel and go to the next group instead it just returns to the beginning of the preset I'm in.

I thought it was the media button on the right side that cycled thru them

So in my car with the digital dash, I click the music button on the steering wheel.

That shows the source list.

Choosing one of those takes you to your presets. At the bottom of the list for the first bank, you’ll see the selection for the 2nd and 3rd banks.

Don’t know if that helps, but it’s how it works in my car.

To many buttons & knobs to choose from.....I change station on the steering wheel but adjust the volume by rotary dial on head unit. Same goes for the hvac stream....try to turn off the ac....end up turning off the Spotify.
I've found just using the touch screen the easiest and logical going forward approach to controlling anything in the car...and why the additional step on the touch screen to change the preset groups isn't an issue for me. Prefer my hands on the wheel and eyes on the road but the car isn't perfect in that respect. Best of its bread so far though....
At the end of the preset list I just hold the advance button down. Does not take me to the next preset 2 or 3 or 1 albums but does let me scan up till I find my desired channel.
Cars / sync3 doesn't run as fast as an iPhone yet.....
My prediction .......Apple should make a car. ......Acquires Tesla...... do their "magic".....
Which makes it profitable....and build em off shore.
Or would tesla acquire apple? Lol

After tinkering.....This is how it's done on a 401A from the steering wheel only buttons

Why does Ford continue to use only 6 presets per screen? There's a lot of unused space and they could have easily made 12 presets or even all 18 on one screen. For me this is a huge negative for Sync3. Heck, the crappy base radio gets 9 hard button presets.

Probably due to the NHSTA guidelines. They limit how many buttons, etc. can be on a screen at one time.
