Help with rear brake pad wire or spring

Hi,

Can anyone help with putting this wire back on the rear brake pad? The wire popped out when I took the rear brake cover off. I can’t seem to fit it back on properly. Are both the ends suppose to go in the pad holes? It doesn’t fit without stretching them hard.

Never mind, figured it out in my dream lmao.

If anyone needs to know in the future, the wire connects to the opposite pad.
