hey! i saw you.. lol i asked you about your setup.i wanted to take mine but im a broke hobo. lolHad a great time at the Ocala half mile this weekend. First time there with a RWD car and quickly learned the asphalt runway is as slick as everyone says it is. Started the weekend out with a 152mph spinning through the first three gears and a little in 4th gear. Ended the weekend with a 160.2mph spinning through first and half way through second gear with IATs in the 130s*. A huge thanks to HPJ Performance/Lund Racing for doing a great job on my build and use of one of their car trailers for the weekend. Also thanks to my crew that went down to the event with me including Ford Motor Company engineer Collin. On a concrete runway that doesn't run uphill and in cooler temps, we're positive we can get a 170mph pass out of the car as it sits.
Thanks! It took all weekend to figure out how to make a clean pass. Dallas last spring was ideal conditions and runway. It sucks that Ocala was unusually warm with a 98* heat index on Saturday. Your car ran really strong considering how much it was spinning.Your car was awesome bro. Real hard to get 170 in Ocala with RWD without a metric load of power. I finished the weekend with a best 171.7MPH and really had to fight for that one. Let me know if you find that flat concrete runway lol.
Hard to tell from my phone, but still looks like they are coming to Dallas in October.Ok guys, it sounds like WannaGoFast is only going to run events in Florida for the foreseeable future and I'm based out of the Midwest. What are some other events that are running? Shift Sector is doing one at Indy and NoFlyZone is doing one in Rantoul IL. Any others?
Dallas is out permanently. GM has a long-term lease on Hensley field now.Hard to tell from my phone, but still looks like they are coming to Dallas in October.
WTF lol. I was really looking forward to that. I guess Street Car Takeover is it.Dallas is out permanently. GM has a long-term lease on Hensley field now.
