Love Carlisle, i just booked my room this week. Instead of being their Fri-Sun, i am going to be there Thurs-Sat

Any benefits to "showing" the car as opposed to just parking around the complex and walking in?

This will be my 32nd year of attending Carlisle I never miss it. I will be there Thursday though Sunday.

It is definitely cheaper to just park outside of the show and pay to get in the gate, but with showing the car you can sit with your car if you need a place to chill for abit. The swag bag you get with showing the car is nothing special, i usually go through it in a few minutes then throw it out.

I think the more fun part of showing the car is just to watch people look at your car and hear the good, the bad and ugly comments and just to laugh them off :-)

I'll be attending this year, will be my first Ford Nationals. I used to go to Corvettes at Carlisle with my old man when I was a kid and the Import and Performance Nationals every year with my Subaru and Toyota many years ago. The S550 is my first Mustang ever and this will be my first time at the Ford Nationals, haven't been to Carlisle in over a decade but I'm really excited to attend.
