250 -280 miles per tank. About 60% driving time in-town driving to 40% steady state at ~60. 16 to 17.5 mpg. Trip computer is pretty optimistic at "20.5 mpg". Yeah, right!
2015 GT AT w/ 3.55 gears, paddle shifting only.

Any tips on best practices for efficient driving around the city? I am new to manuals and to Coyote's.
Iā€™m actually shocked that mine is that high in city driving. Houston is a lot of highways but the stop and go is constant. So with me having a heavy foot and always in sport mode I shake my head in awe that I get 16-19.

Even after five passes on the track and ripping on it the mpg still showed 18.

If youā€™re trying to maximize your city mpg Iā€™d keep it in normal mode and donā€™t draw the rpms out too much before shifting. Shift at the correct points and Iā€™m sure youā€™ll see a fair amount of fuel efficiency.

Iā€™m new to coyotes too. It was all old 302ā€™s for me before this car. Ford did a good job at maximizing their horsepower/mpg formula.

2017 gt 5.0 PP 6 speed tuned for 93. i get 13 mpg.
You must be a spirited driver, lol.

2017 GT PP with Ford Performance supercharger with Ford/Roush tune here. I get 14 city and 22-24 hwy MPG. Not hard to get down into the single digits if you are getting really frisky though.

Since throttle response is changed between modes I wonder if wet mode will give better mpg than normal mode.

Usually between 550-600 km or 240-275 miles. Fuel economy lifetime on dash is 9.3 or a little better than 25 mpUSg. This at about 11K km on an ā€˜18 Ecoboost ā€˜vert w/A10. Probably 80/20 hwy/city. The best I have seen on a trip was 7.2 or almost 33 mpUSg

Good question. Iā€™ve never used the wet/snow mode but Iā€™ll try it and see.

I know I'll burn an entire tank of 98-100 when on track for 3 twenty minute sessions. I get about 60 miles out of a tank maybe? It is funny that is screws up your average and your fuel level indicator constantly want to read close to empty as it re computes your average when you refill and hit the street.

Just filled up about an hour ago. BP gasoline 87 octane, 352 on a full tank from 19 miles to empty.

Usually get 22-25 mpg city & 30+ on the highway driving normally. I'm certain those numbers drop in Sport+ when I'm feeling a little frisky.

I also have a aftermarket CAI + throttle body and tune but I was getting those numbers pre tune as well.

On my previous Mustang (2015 Ecoboost), the best I ever got was 476 miles. It took 14.55 gallons to fill up. If I was not on the Florida Turnpike at that time I would have tried to get 500 miles. And no I was not doing anything to get that kind of mileage.

Which bring me to another question do you guys drive your cars after the warning light for get gas come up (which is on the 1/4 of tank mark) ? As I'm used to filling on the light but there over 10 litters of gas left that way.
