Took a chance on this and I think it came out really good. It's a very strong yet flexible ABS plastic. The quality is really nice as well. I almost went with the SBS splitter but I just didn't want to spend a couple hundred on this as I'm sure it's gonna get beat up over time and eventually have an accident with a curb or parking block lol. I've had two 07' GT's in the past where I went with the GT500 style version of these and had no issues as well. Plus I don't mind trying stuff out for others to see.
I did hate that I had to use self tapping screws into the PP1 splitter. Of course you can not be lazy like me and remove the belly pan and use bolts and nuts instead. I figured it's underneath where it won't be seen so. There are 2 factory bolts on both sides on each end (by the wheel wells) that line up perfectly that you can use to hold it up while I installed the other screws. I made sure to use every hole that was in the splitter and even added a few in a few other locations I thought would be best for a total of 24 screws. I don't think it's going anywhere, unless I hit something. lol I even thought about it afterwards but if you want to be extra extra you can probably outline the edge of the splitter with 3M red tape in conjunction with the screws for extra security.
So far it's been holding up well. Will report back after some more time has passed
