Took a chance on this and I think it came out really good. It's a very strong yet flexible ABS plastic. The quality is really nice as well. I almost went with the SBS splitter but I just didn't want to spend a couple hundred on this as I'm sure it's gonna get beat up over time and eventually have an accident with a curb or parking block lol. I've had two 07' GT's in the past where I went with the GT500 style version of these and had no issues as well. Plus I don't mind trying stuff out for others to see.

I did hate that I had to use self tapping screws into the PP1 splitter. Of course you can not be lazy like me and remove the belly pan and use bolts and nuts instead. :) I figured it's underneath where it won't be seen so. There are 2 factory bolts on both sides on each end (by the wheel wells) that line up perfectly that you can use to hold it up while I installed the other screws. I made sure to use every hole that was in the splitter and even added a few in a few other locations I thought would be best for a total of 24 screws. I don't think it's going anywhere, unless I hit something. lol I even thought about it afterwards but if you want to be extra extra you can probably outline the edge of the splitter with 3M red tape in conjunction with the screws for extra security.

So far it's been holding up well. Will report back after some more time has passed

Put some black magic plastic treatment on the regular splitter and the contrast won't be as drastic.

I'll keep that in mind if it ever bothers me.

Did you install from underneath the car or after removing the bumper?

Didn't remove anything. Just jacked the front up for better clearance to use the drill.

How are those SVE wheels compared to the PP2 wheels?

No issues so not much to say on them but they're lighter than the PP1 wheels and they def look great.

You reused the factor bolts by the wheel well or are those self tapping screws?

I order this splitter too, so any advice on installing would be great!

Bought this same one. Was excited to get it installed. To then realize it’s only for PP1 cars. Bummer lol

Can anyone clarify whether or not this would fit an 18 GT w/PP1, from the eBay page it states:

For 2018-2019 Mustang GT With OEM Lip Spoiler
2018-2019 Mustang Ecoboost Model With Performance Package

That's the listing for the GT non-Performance pack. There should be a different listing for the GT w/PP

I haven’t been able to find it, please post the link if you come across the one for PP1 cars.

That's the listing I picked up and it does not fit my non-performance GT.
