Hello,

I have a very peculiar issue with my new to me 2017 GT Premium. It started with my seat settings. I would adjust the mirrors and seats to my desired positions and then save them on button 1. When I return, the seat and mirrors revert back to original positions. I went ahead and saved the same seat settings to all three buttons. Now my seat and mirrors stay where they should. (similar issue with my Flex, seats always reverts to button 1 settings)

Ok. No big deal.

Now I found the ambient light and gauge color settings. I set the gauge color to white and ambient light to red. When im in the car it works. I get out close the door and everything is fine. I let everything turn off. Then I open the car, everything reverts back to ice blue.

I can overlook the seat settings for now. But does anyone have any idea what is causing the color settings to be forgotten?

Thanks.

HA! I figured it out, no thanks to the manual.

The ambient light settings and gauge color settings are tied to the seat memory buttons. So not only do the buttons control seat and mirror positions but they also trigger the respective drivers color settings.

Its pretty neat because now you can literally program the same seat and mirror position to all 3 buttons, change the color on all 3 buttons and have a quick way of selecting different color combinations.

Why the hell is this not anywhere in the manual?

I bet your fob was linked to one of the other buttons.

From the Manual:
Linking a PreSet Position to your
Remote Control or Intelligent
Access Key Fob

Your vehicle can save the preset memory
positions for up to three remote controls
or intelligent access (IA) keys.
1. With the ignition on, move the memory
positions to the desired positions.
2. Press and hold the desired preset
button for about five seconds. A tone
will sound after about two seconds.
Continue holding until a second tone
is heard.
3. Within three seconds, press the lock
button on the remote control you are
linking.
To unlink a remote control, follow the
same procedure – except in step 3, press
the unlock button on the remote control.

Note:
If more than one linked remote
control or intelligent access key is in range,
the memory function will move to the
settings of the first key stored.

Yes. This was definitely it too. I found that after further reading. Thanks for taking the time to help.
