So not the GoPro yet, but I stuck a shop light under there and stuck my phone behind the wheel and wiggled the camera around to look around. Clearance looks like 2-3mm to me. What do y’all think?

I'd like a little more myself but it's close. Another 2 mm and I wouldn't worry about it. I have seen 3 mm / 1/8" spacers.

Indeed, but will certainly fix your issue.
Mounted the cameras inside and outside the wheel. No contact under load. No big tire deflection. Maybe 1mm at most. The outside doesn't rub either, it comes close under some insane bumps, but no contact. It looks like if I move even 3mm out I will have contact if I hit a bump while at full lock.

May I ask what wheels your running with a +55 offset, who's wheels and where did you buy them?

So the ones I’ve seen that run +25 to +27 offset have rubbed on the fender.
You quoted me in this post, and I’m glad my information is useful, but your last comment would be more accurate if phrased thus: “When running wide wheel/tire combos in the front of the S550, take note that the TALLER tires could potentially graze the plastic inner fender LINER (not the fender itself, only the wheel well liner), and specifically the bump-out area near the bottom rear. Hardly interferes at all, and 2 minutes with an exacto-blade or similar could clearance it. Or leave it alone, it may or may not ever do more than just brush up against it. NO hard contact. Again, this is due to the HEIGHT of the tires (my Nitto NT555G2 tires are a ‘35’ aspect ratio and most 305s are only a ‘30’) not the width.

Also, 3mm of wheel/tire to strut clearance is fine. It takes well over 1.2+ lateral G’s to deflect enough tire rubber to reduce that gap by an appreciable amount.

Adding....

The more you’re lowered, the worse large front tire fitment becomes. I am lowered only 0.75” all around on Steeda Dual Rates. No issues with either set of my 305/35s daily or 305/30s at CAM-C autocross grip levels.

Do not stack wheel spacers if you can easily avoid it. You shouldn’t have to spring for custom thicknesses if you’re doing the tried and true fitments listed all over this forum including this thread, but if you do decide you need custom spacers just get them from OP Mustang machined to whatever size you need. Stacking could/should work, but don’t cut corners on this type of assembly.

As for why some things “Fit on other people’s cars but not your own” remember there is some play (tolerance) to many of these parts. Take the strut-to-knuckle bolts loose and use a prybar to persuade it to whichever side you need for best clearance. Obviously this will affect your alignment to be prepared to realign after making the adjustment. Might only be 0.2° of camber but it could equal 0.5-1mm+ of tire clearance too.

Thank you for clarifying. I see where I misread. There have been a handful of people whom they're posts were very useful, you were one of them.

That is mighty close. But hey, if it doesn’t rub, it doesn’t rub :like:

That’s waaaaayyy more space. I’d feel super comfortable with that. My old 295 on 10” wheels didn’t have that stretch and were much closer.
