Any cheap rear drag wheel/tires out there

Any recommendations for a rear tire and wheel set up for drag and street use? Only minor mods on my 2015 manual. Any deals or recommendations?

If you are looking for light weight. There's not many CHEAP options.

You could always get some old FR500, cobra etc wheel. They come in 17x10 or 10.5 I believe.
There's some import wheels too, but their offsets are too low most of the time.

Not sure yet tbh. No stock in aus, so I won't get them for up to 12 weeks. I will definitely take photos once I have received them though

If you want. The hub bore is 72.60.

Konigs are lighter but you lose a 1/2" of width

I was not sure if the 10.5s would clear but they are also available, 17x9 with MT ET Rs 275/40/17- 23lb each rim.

I'm not sure I like the idea of going cheap with anything that involves racing.

I keep visualizing that poor guy who's car exploded when doing a dyno with "cheap" tires.

Lesson learned there- dont cheap out on a tune lol- Mickey thompson Street ETs are one of the best tires you can get grip wise, the idea here is you pay less but still have a setup that performs as well as something twice the price.

Yeah, if I remember, the cheap tire basically exploded, and the whole rear end of his car looked like an IED in the trunk went off.

Actually I was interested in both. MT's seem like the option on the tires. Tough to justify a big wheel and tire expense for a few times at the strip per year.
