Which Winter Tyres?

So far I am super happy with my Michelin Pilot Alpins. They are the first winter tires I have ever had that feel like normal tires and the grip is awesome.

Don't know where you'd buy'em - but I can whole heartedly recommend the Continental ContiVikingContact 6s. Currently have them on my car and they are just excellent (feels a lot better than my Pirellis even before ice and snow set in)... they also won this years test of best stud-free winter tyres up here by the automotive association...

Winter Rims Options/Ideas?

Additionally came across these...seems like they may be good option for winter tires to keep the look, quality needs to be checked...running them at 260km/h could be an ISSUE.

Nokan are very good winter tyre, wife use them.

I can also recommend Continental TS830/840/850/860 tyres. Been using them for years. Car goes like a train through snow

Just got the Continental TS850 installed this week. Although it's not yet real winter, it's already a big upgrade from the Pzero's. Much more grip!
Pretty happy with them so far.

Will say it once again, Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s here, superb quality. Going for Michelin Pilot Supersport next summer as well. I'm going to change tires soon and say goodbye to Pirellis with some sweet burnout

Last week I purchased used 2017 with 24k km on it, on my way home from PL to SK I had to cross Makov (small mountian pass) with summer Kumho tyres on the car, I almost wasn't able to climb it car was sliding all over the road, hope winter tyres and some weight in the trunk will help the drivability in winter times as I plan to use the horse daily.

Need to replace my Nokians, either with new ones WR A4 or Michelin Alpine. Anyone knows difference between teh alpine PA4 and alpine 5 (except the 5 is the new one ) Much better ?? as big price difference....
