Procharger or NA

Procharger is 5600 bucks give or take....

I got a quote today for Cobra jet intake, ARH 1- 7/8 offroad headers, vmp twin 69mm throttle body, pmas cai for cobra jet, steeda engine mounts, lu 47 injectors... right around 5k dollars for parts installed out the door.... (not including tune)

Am I crazy for spending 5k for those mods when a procharger is damn near the same price??

What are your goals for the car? If it's mid 10's or better, you'll be looking for a blower or turbos, anyway. Of course that $5600 is probably for a tuner kit and you'll be spending quite a bit more, to finish the install.

I have no doubt it is. If I boost mine, it would most likely be with a Procharger.

I don't have a 18 , but I started with a manifold swap on my 15 , 3 weeks later the Procharger was on .

The goal was to keep it NA ... but at the price it doesn't even seem to make any sense.. Alot less parts to change as well.. Something else to think about now, granted, I could just do the headers which I think the bulk of the gains from the list above will come from and stop there, but what fun would that be?

I would be very disappointed if I wasn't able to mid to upper 10's with that NA setup.

Time to think though, last thing I want to do is rush and regret making a change, post an ad to sell parts at a loss and go a different route lol..

You could always start out with some headers, injectors and a Flex tune. Work on the suspension. Then decide if you want to boost it.

Boost it. By the time you get past basic bolt ons and push for 10s it’ll be cheaper

Just boost it. The only thing nice about bolt ons first. Is your even faster when the supercharger goes on.
