The car I ordered over 4 months ago showed up at the dealer, hasn't even been processed yet. Decided to swing by and get some pictures of both cars together. The only difference is the spoiler delete on the car I ordered. I thought I would like the look without the spoiler better, but the spoiler has grown on me. Ford did a great job on it.

I still think the clean, spoilerless look (Bullitt style) would look great without the stripes. Curious to see how long it stays on their lot. There still isn't a whole lot of these NFG Stangs in my area.

Black wheels look so great on these.

I do wish I didn't have to buy the stripe though. It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't.. well I'd like it without the stripe. But I paid for it! so I'm reluctant to remove it! The tug of war inside of me is real.

I definitely like NFG better without the factory black stripes.

I think fords biggest mistake with the color was making the stripes mandatory.

Bad for us but might not be a mistake for Ford. And I don't think it was an accident that it was a brand new color they tried this with. It was only a mistake in Ford's mind if the stripes convinced people to not buy any Mustang. They are probably more than happy to have the guaranteed extra profit from anyone choosing NFG. I suspect it was an experiment to see if they can get away with doing more of this type of thing. I hope they decide it was a mistake.

Well no Need for Green next year so??? Looks much nicer than the Lime Green photo's of the new GT500. Especially with the stripe removed.
