Worst helicopter rotor ever. For efficient lift, you need long wings or rotors. Those are the shortest ones I've ever seen aside from small drones. That concept would need insane RPM to develop worthwhile lift.

Got to give it to Goodyear, they are always trying new stuff. I remember the airless tires that were suppose to be going into to production soon, 5 years ago. They were ugly. Never heard anything else since then.

You mean the one with the flexible rubber “inner” core? I see those on commercial lawn care equipment. Think it’s great for low speed stuff like that, not so much for the traditional vehicle.

Those are the ones, I saw them on a German sedan going through orange cones promising production soon. Thank goodness they are not mainstream now
