Are the low front speakers and rear deck speakers 4 ohms or 2 ohms?

(9 premium speakers)

I see people on this forum replacing them with 4 ohms and the factory speakers at the back also state its 4 ohms on the pictures I see.

Let me know thanks.

I have never replaced the speakers in my car, but you have appeared to have answered your own question.

If I was to bet, I would put my money on 4 ohms...:)

The impedance is all over the place....Door woofers and rear deck speakers are 4 ohms, and the door midrange speakers are 2 ohms and the tweeters are rated at 8 ohms!

Just looked on the crutchfield web site. And I understand these are after market speakers/systems, but yes, the impedances are all over the place. Hell, the center dash sparker I looked at was 3 ohms.

So as you said... “All over the place”

The impedance of the drivers are "all over the place" because the design engineers are likely trying to find a happy compromise of the total load seen by the amplifier. Two or more drivers in parallel changes the load seen by the amp. You can look up the formula online. Impedance that's too low causes the amp to work harder (more heat), and impedance that's too high requires a larger amp (if you want reasonably loud SPL).

Can you share which drivers are in parallel in the 9 speaker system?

Edit... think I found it. 3.5 in Door and a pillar tweeters?
So does this calculator look correct? Cause for alarm?

I imagine someone who has already replaced the door speakers can verify how they're wired (parallel or combination series/parallel).

Is this in series or parallel or a combo?

The chart tells me the 3.5" "door tweeter" and pillar tweeter are wired parallel.
