Just stored for a long winter slumber.

Switching to the all season radials, waxed the car & wheels, rain-ex'd the windows, treated the leather...and now, it's ready for winter driving!!!

As long as there is no salt on the roads.

Tomorrow...I am switching out the H11 halogen frogs for some inexpensive LED H11's. I got one to work so far...the next one I will try tomorrow. The looks are much better after losing the dimmer halogens.

Unfortunately our winters are disastrous on vehicles. Long winters and lotsa road salt. Gonna be a long winter without her, but each spring, it’s like getting a new vehicle.

Registered to post on this thread (hopefully many more afterwards). Like most of you, love everything about my Ruby Red GT/CS, but I want to have a unique look. What ideas have y'all thought of? I've been tossing around the idea of racing stripes, but not sure if it'll look to busy with the CS decals.

I thought about a black gloss hood scoop like a Chip Foose design that would tie in nicely with a black gloss roof. Add rear window louvers and maybe side louvers as well. If you don’t like it when done, I’ll buy the car from you.

I’m rethinking the window louvers and hood scoop after picking up a 2016 Ruby Red GT/CS yesterday. 2200 miles and a Roush supercharger goo for 670 hp. More than I expected to get. But it looks so beautiful as is. I searched nationwide to get just the right combination and had it shipped. It has Automatic, 401A package, Voice Activated Navigation System, Reverse Park Assist, floor mats, but now spare shell and tire (easy fix I suppose)

I would like to have a black (rapped?) roof at least, and maybe tinted windows. But I am a little nervous about getting a botched job with either. Any suggestions on finding someone to do the job right? I am in Northern California and could travel a little to get to a good shop. Or is any shop generally capable to do the work?

I see a couple roofs have been wrapped here. Are they more durable than getting the roof painted?

^ The 2016/17 appearance is subtle but once people look at it they do appreciate it. Tinted windows for sure but I chose not to wrap the roof since RR is not in your face like some colors. Enjoy your new CS!
PS, with that much power you might consider widening your rear wheels and get some meat in there.

I am a little concerned that the half shafts (or something else) might break with more traction from stickier tires, but I don’t plan on beating up my ride, so will be careful. Automatic might be less likely that will happen. Would be nice to have more tire though.

Nice on finding the supercharger! One of the first things I did was put black 5.0 emblems on. The GT/CS should’ve came with those stock.

I’m not a fan of wraps but only because I’ve seen some bad examples where the edges and complex surfaces wrinkle. That being said there may be some high quality choices for wraps.

Do your research and find a good reputable wrap installer. I am 100% happy with mine. You really need to take good care of the vinyl as it scratches easily, but scratches can be removed with a little bit of heat.
