Looks like the raised the msrp on the old kit by over $100, probably to make this kit appear cheaper. Hopefully when this kit hits the 3rd party websites it'll be under 500.
Did anyone ask fp what kind of gains this kit gives? Strange they don't list that, after all that testing I'm sure they know.
The MSRP for the 15 to 17 Ecoboost Power Pack was $750 when it first came out, it is currently $699. But you can by it for around $510.

I would expect the kit for the 18 and 19s will stay at it's MSRP but once the rush is over it will be less than $500.

ProCal software was just upgraded to V4.01 from V3.8. Perhaps 1 step closer for you 18-19 guys to be able to install the tune?

I really hope FRPP makes the tune at least as strong as the COBB stage 1. But that may be wishful thinking.

Fast forward to 13:30 mark

I sure hope the final tune is a bit better than what they are showing on the dyno graphs in this video, especially in the 5-6K rpm range. The 15-17 tune shows about 100 hp gain close to 6K. Just eyeballing this, it looks like it's only 10-15 hp gain in that 5-6K range. I'm not spending $635 for that.

remember that price is list price, when you buy from supporting vendor it will be much less.. :)

Agree. It’d have to be quite a bit better. If it’s 15-20 peak and that’s the highest gain in the range, it’s probably worth about $200.

I put 48,000 miles on my 2015 Ecoboost, I kept that car stock the whole time.
When I took delivery of my 2018 the car felt quite a bit faster than the 2015 ever did, even before it was broken in.
Quicker than expected with just the 30 lbs/ft of torque increase.
The 18 pulls well all the way to redline on the factory tune.
It did heat soak last summer, but I have the Garrett Intercooler now.
Anyways, maybe there isn’t much to gain on the 18/19s from a conservative tune.
That being said, I’m running the COBB stage 1, and it’s strong enough, but I really don’t like what COBB did to the throttle response, they backed off on the sensitivity in sport, track and drag modes.
I like the factory throttle setting better. It worked better for the way I drive my car regarding heel and toe downshifting for fun street, autocross, and high speed time trials. The factory setting required less pedal travel to rev match.
This car's all about having fun for me since its my year round commuter car for the next few years. I will give up some hp and torque to have the car drive closer to how I want it to.

For us 15-16 guys with the FP tune, those who have had both cobb and FP have said they are about even. Obviously the cobb AP is much better than the procal device, but in terms of performance they are on par. I think the FP is plenty for those who want a safe tune and not risk warranty as much

It probably comes down to two questions; 1) How much of the 15-17 FP tune was incorporated into the 18-19 stock motor, and therefore 2) how much more are the factory engineers willing/able to extract from the motor for the 18-19 tune. Hopefully they'll post those dyno charts soon.

From Ford Performance. They said that they are in the process of putting the dyno charts up, and gave me the #'s.
Cool. If so, that puts it pretty much in line with the 15-17 tune in the upper RPM range. Eagerly awaiting the chart!
