I wont argue which is best, but the main ones making them that I know of are
speedperf6rmanc3
Tune+
MAPerformance

Whoever you go with, if you want bigger power make sure they use the 2.0TS block and stroke it to 2.3L, as the 2.0TS is a much stronger block, most are already even if they dont specifically say it.

Also have your goal in mind, an block with giant cams that idles high could be a great drag strip monster, but terrible daily driver.

If you buy a block that can make 700HP but you dont want a giant turbo that will lag, then you dont need a block built for that.

When would you considered port and polished headwork?
Assume to be beyond the stock block (max 400 WHP) daily driver.

Esslinger does great work on these, they even go as far as putting them on an engine dyno prior to shipping out to break-in and test them.

Go with Adam and Tune+. They offer anything from a simple shortblock all the way up to a full race spec motor. And all the motors are the 2.0 block so you don't have to worry about them cracking like a 2.3 block does.
