You need bullet resonators installed behind the X.

What about replacing the X with a borla resonator? This is what I’m seeing. What are bullet resonators?

That's another good option.

Bullet resonators are inline resonators that calm rasp and some of the peak volume. Vibrant makes a great selection of them.

This would involve cutting the pipes and welding then, right?

I like my Borla resonator behind my catless 1-7/8” Kooks. Calms the rasp down nicely. I run it on a VMP boosted car with E85, so if your anything like that or less, I think the Borla would work for you. The Vibrants are apparently nice too. I’ve never heard them, but everyone seems to like them.

Vibrant 1794s did the trick for me with ARH catted LTH and Corsa Xtreme. The Borla resonator should work as well.

I did this with 18” vibrant bottle resonators on my Gibson catback. Not perfect but helped a lot.

i dont think ive ever heard a full exhaust coyote that wasnt raspy. doesn't bother me though. i like it that way!

seems like the only truly deep tone exhaust you can get out of these cars is factory, and that of course is too quiet..

I have Stainless Bros resonators which are straight through and have no restriction. They will help with the rasp and drone and give a deeper tone. You can hear my exhaust at RM Motor Werks website.

I don't think you will. I think it's just a characteristic of having 32 valves. I have a Steeda h-pipe and it has accentuated the rasp. Maybe not as much as an x-pipe but it is raspier than the OEM resonator.

The bottle resonators killed all my rasp. I don't have headers though.
