Hey forum I have a 2017 Gt350 with a whipple kit that makes around 730rwhp on 93 octane.. my game plan is to switch over to E85 with all the supporting mods etc etc.. My question is with the proper sized injectors and Ecu calibration and a Dual Boost a pump set up how much rwhp can the factory fuel pumps support on E85?

Well I found out on another forum 900-1000rwhp is achievable on e85 with proper sized injectors and a dual boost a pump.

I honestly doubt they will support 1000 whp safety

Even GT ‘s running the dual pumps in a return system are running out of fuel at about 850 whp on blower cars .
Not sure what injectors but be careful with the ID1000’s as they are at max duty cycle at 850 whp . I know some push them further but the function is degraded above that .

Lund told me the were ok with running a dual BAP with the stock pumps on my GT 350 but only at “low boost “ . They will tune the ID1000’s but they prefer the 1300’s probably because the 1000’s will probably be maxed out .
My car made about the same as yours with the old whipple tune(they just released a new tune /firmware to let you add timing for race gas ) with 18/19* ,9 lbs of boost and 93 plus boostane

Add 2-3 * timing , E85 and at that boost level I estimate it will make low 800’s.
Probably need to drop down a pulley size to make mid 800’s .

I think you might be able to get more fuel if your drop in DW400’s especially if you add dual BAPs as they flow substantially more than the stock pumps .

You very well could be right cause that was not my personal data just what I got from a few reputable tuners.. One who tunes for one of the more popular company’s who builds a good deal of gt350’s builds and gt350 turbo systems. Said they made 1038 with ID1300’s and a JMS dual BAP on E85... A few other guys said they made north of 950rwhp and another on a whipple made right 900rwhp.. Agian not my data but just what I’ve been told. I’d say I’ll be on the Dyno with my whipple set up in a month so I’ll keep everyone updated..

Hey man .
May be you can pm details of the tuner.
Honestly don’t want to end up spending $3-4 K on a fuel system to run E85 if I can make 850-900 safely with a BAP.
I think it’s probably worth starting with the ID1300’s (unless you already have the 1000’s) as you will end up upgrading in the end

I already have 2 DW400 pumps so might as well use them in the GT 350 hat and add a BAP to make sure
