Congratulations - and here's hoping you have zero engine problems, as we share builders (and exterior color)!
Thanks, what a coincidence! What’s your chassis number?

Nice color.

I must say though, seeing a car cover on a nice vehicle is like watching fingernails being ripped out

Thanks!

Lol, that's the only time it's covered, just want see how it looks like with cover. The cover is unnecessary since it will be always garaged.

Then I guess no way to tell which was built first from the number.
Mine was built on 3/29/2018.

Check the code for blend date on the top of your window sticker - will have the word "blend" written under a string of digits, with the last four being the blend date - i.e., the date it rolled down the line.

Hi everyone, two months ago I posted this regarding a used 2017 GT350 I bought. I ended up returning it because of the low oil level. Thank y'all for all the replies and kind words.

Since then I changed my mind and decided to get a new one to avoid potential issues as I met before. I even hired a car broker to help me find a deal. Eventually the broker found two new 2018s, one with $2K markup and the other with $5K. Of course I said no and luckily I got full refund of the service charge from the car broker. I did some search myself and found that one below MSRP, and the dealership is only 160 miles away. The whole process was very smooth. The sales person and financial manager are the best. Shoutout to Gridley Country Ford. I went to Gridley and drove it back to bay area and even came across a grabber blue GT350 on the way back.

The first thing I did was to have the whole car ceramic coated. I'm really happy with the car and look forward to pushing the startup button everyday. Put 200 miles on it so far, checked oil level twice and haven't seen any consumption.

Here are the pics:

Got the customized plates today. Is anyone also using the chassis number as the license plate number?

Great Idea...!!!
I had personalized plates on my last two Cobra's and it was difficult trying to find something that was not already taken.
Obviously, no one is going to have the same chassis number, and the odds are infinitesimally small that anyone would somehow already have that series of letter(s)/numbers for some other reason.

On a somewhat side note:
I have a co-worker who recently retired that still has a personalized plate that says "69 HEMI".
He got it for his 1969 Hemi Road Runner; the vehicle has not moved for at least a decade, but he still maintains the custom plate. He has had several fairly large offers by other 69 Hemi owners to not renew so that they can have his plate.

Congrats, nice to see another Magnetic Shelby in the Bay Area! Time had eased the markup game somewhat. When shopping for mine except for the Morgan Hill Ford Store not one dealership I could find on the entire West Coast would sell for sticker. Of course they were sold out of allocation for the year.
Another Magnetic in the Bay Area. I’m in Napa. My 17 key has the cobra on the back.

Mine was manufactured 4/17 and went unsold until 5/18. I think the 20k adm sticker had something to do with that.

congrats! but that pic between the 2 cars makes me nervous! :frown:
Likewise... mine got dinged once lucky no paint damage and came out ok. But I never drive it anymore to supermarkets.
People have no respect... especially rich bitches in expensive suvs.
