I heard on good authority that a 2015 Porsche Panamera Turbo in my area that had consistently beaten a stock '17 Mustang GT, '17 Charger Scat Pack and '18 Challenger Scat Pack (<all automatic transmissions) by 3+ car lengths to 60mph got pulled on slightly today by a bone stock 2018 Mustang GT Auto in a 20-80 MPH run.

The new auto GTs are strong!

Gotta love hearsay... Anything is possible on the street as there are many potential factors but the Panamera should still be quicker from a roll, at least on paper...
Here's some magazine racing:

You still own 2 scatpacks (per your signature)or past cars??

Wouldn't suprise me if a 130k turbo car pulled the cars you mentioned. But I've never seen anyone ever run on of those things hard.

Just looking at mag times...that shouldn't even be a contest. It's a car that traps 123+ vs a 117mph car. It's like a new GT racing a 2008 G37.

Not quite. Car and Driver trapped 120 mph in the 1/4 with the '18 A10 GT. Hot Rod trapped 119.5 mph with an ET of 11.83 seconds. Motor Trend trapped 118.8, closer to 119 than 118.0. Another publication trapped 119 mph (can't remember which one) and ran an 11.99. I think saying it's a 117 mph car in the 1/4 is selling it short a bit based on the magazine tests. The 2008 G37 traps 103-105 mph at best and runs mid to upper 13s. The A10 GT is closer to the 650 hp Z06 (10.9 seconds @ 127 mph) than the G37 is to the A10 GT, much less even a new '18 Panamera hybrid turbo, which "only" traps 122 mph (and 11.3 sec ET due to AWD). That was the fastest test I could find, the others were 120-121 mph, for the newer twin turbo versions, not the '15 Panamera turbo. The '15 Panamera Turbo (non S) is like a 114 mph car, I believe (tests were harder to find in just a quick search). From a roll, the A10 GT would beat most Panameras, unless it's a newer model with the twin turbo/hybrid powertrain. From a dig, it would be hard to overcome the AWD of the Porsche.

Lots of magazines correct their times. From what I have seen on this forum, and a few others, most guys are running low 12s between 115 and 117mph. The outliers are outliers on both ends. The Panamera has a much fatter power band, and aggressive gearing like the GT. I still think, equal drivers, Panamera takes it from a roll at any speed.

New Turbo starts at 150 I think, and the new one looks bad ass I think. The front was always good, but now the back end fits the rest of the car.
