Hi everyone,

I have been lurking in the forum for a few months now gathering information to make an informed decision on buying a new GT 5.0 or a used GT350. Happy to say that over the weekend I picked up a lightly used new to me 2018 GT350 in Lead Foot Grey. I look forward to the adventures to come and getting to know the GT350 wheel men and women here in Florida and surrounding states. I had the pleasure of meeting Tomster on Saturday. His GT350s are beautiful. So thank you Tom for the advice and taking the time to talk to me.

I'll post pictures later but so far my cheeks are sore from smiling so much!!!

Cheers

I hope you pushed the 93 button. 93 gives you more horesepower.

Another tip I have learned about avoiding fuel dripping down the side of the car is to let the pump finish, let is set a few seconds, and then rapidly pull the nozzle out. (Kinda like the 'ol "on the count of three")

Good luck
Some are not to expensive and make sense
Steeda clutch spring
MGW short shifter
Diode dynamic bulbs interior and exterior signal, bsck up, side rear trim
That won’t break the bank
Resonator delete
Steeda suspension upgrade full Monty
DSC controller

I was going to inquire what mods are good to get that aren't a waste of money.

Things I am doing right away:
Paint correction
Protective film
Ceramic

Here is what I was planning in the future:
Steeda Clutch Spring
Passenger side oil catch can
Hood struts
LEDs
Resonator delete
After market air filter
Speaker replacement/sub and amp
Possibly a tune. Unsure what brand.

This is my first performance car. I've put roughly 200 miles on the car since Sunday. Nothing really bothers me. The clutch pedal is a little light and inconsistent as far as feel. The spring will help with that. The speakers suck. But I turn the volume down to hear the exhaust so it's moot at this point. Really I am more concerned with learning the vehicle and making sure everything is good. I did do 3rd gear and 4th gear pulls to 7500 rpm last night and all I can say is......HOLLLLLLLLY CRAP!!!

The brakes are incredible!!!! Would like to go to pad that doesn't create so much dust. But not at the expense of rotor wear.

With outside air coming in through the HVAC without the a/c on, fan only and temp in the LO setting, the air is warm even though the outside air is chilly. Not sure if that because of engine heat or there is an issue with the HVAC. Not sure what people have experienced with that. Can only go off of what I've felt in my 4Runner. Which is I get the ambient air temp.

What I really need to do since this was a used car with 2800 miles on it is to get with someone who is familiar with this cars and have them drive it and see if there is anything that is not normal. TOMSTER mentioned to me that I need to listen for engine tick. I didn't hear the day that I purchased the vehicle. I had them change the oil to get a baseline for oil. To me it sounds like the injectors. But I can only go off what I've experienced with other engines, like the pre-coyote 302 or the 4.7 that's in my 4runner which has noisy injectors.

I think your list is reasonable
Be careful with a tune it can affect your warranty
I would also check around and see who does specialty car front end alignments in your area and make sure ur good
Tires a bit too pricey and short lived to boot, no need to speed that process up
I have a guy who only does high end cars and gets a lot of guys who track their cars, he custom dials in the alignment and it’s only 100 bucks, one man shop
