I'm getting them powdercoated on all 4 and was wondering what was the original color? It is a flat black or more of a glass black? I'm essentially getting them refinished.

Out of curiosity, what are some other colors you guys would do? Maybe a dolphin gray? The car is a magnetic gray already so the black looks pretty good when not filled with dust. lol

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I would say OEM is a semi-gloss. How’s that for confusing? Are yours hard to tell? I’m not a fan of colored wheels. Black or aluminum color.

The struggle, I will tell them semi-gloss. However, I wonder if a high gloss wouldn't be a bad idea with the gray magnetic color. Or... I should just ask to surprise me. haha oh... how I hate having to make decisions.

I have a magnetic car. I think high gloss would look killer . That's what I would go with if I was in you position. Heck if u want low gloss just wait about 5 minutes for the brake dust to build up.

I'd do matte bronze to combat the perpetual brake dust. Otherwise, your rims will always look dirty except for the first 5 minutes of a drive fresh off a wash.

I like that a lot. I wonder how it would look with the stock wheels. If only I had GIMP at the office to do some quick photoshopping.

I ended up going with the black of whatever they can surprise me with. I couldn't find what bronze looked like online on the stock wheels. Could have been too much with all those individual lines if that makes any sense.
