I've read through this thread https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...nd-regular-checks-stuff-u-need-to-know.89612/

Is there any advice for buying a used 2018 GT350 w/2800 miles on it. Two owners. Each owner put just over 1k miles on the vehicle. I do have some concerns but the vehicle is a Certified Pre Owned with the extended warranty that comes with a CPO. There is also a 5 - day return guarantee. I will be taking it to a local shop that deals with Mustangs. There is a half a dime size chip on the lower part of the hood. Should I ask for that to be fixed?

What do I need to check for before taking delivery?

I greatly appreciate any advice.

2 owners? Why? Look at Oasis report and car fax,
That chip doesn’t sound like something you can just touch up, get an estimate for repair from dealer body guy just for info

I think the advice sticky discusses why multiple owners with low miles are more common on this car. Essentially, folks buy it for speculation, excitement, or tertiary vehicle. Some of these buyers move on quickly to something else. I would view a two owner, 2000 mile mid-grade SUV negatively, but not the Shelby *necessarily*

Some folks left the marriage early for fear over oil consumption or blown engines, some left after failures and actual mechanical problems.

Having said that, it's your risk calculus to solve based on price, color, condition, etc..

Having two owners in such a short time and miles to me would raise flags. Follow Wine Dude’s advice before purchasing.

I've seen Tom's car and a friend drove it - it's a solid example that has been in the hands of a true enthusiast caretaker.

Understanding two distinctly different situations here, the car you should be looking at is Tomster’s.
He has been a valued member of the forum, a thru enthusiast who has had a regular GT 350, and 2 Rs until he just got a base R, his cars have all been broken in correctly and driven and cared for correctly, given the unknown about the other car, it’s really a no brainer and remember dealer is marking the car up for a profit, Tomster bought his at good prices and hopefully selling at a good price as well, just my 2 cents worth!

First off, you have not said what the price is. But two owners could be bad but it could be just fine because they picked up an R after have the non R.

The R is no more kid unfriendly than a non R, unless the R has a rollbar and u can’t install the rear seats, all you need is the rear seat kit, someone may have done a rear seat delete and you might pick up the rear seats at a good price
