I was about to do the opposite and get a GT350 but like my auto GT more. I actually purchased a JLT intake and tune package from Lund which I was gonna run. Coming out of a Hellcat I miss the power but in the end I don't think I will get it with these mods. I'm going to get a Whipple or Roush blower I think and hunker down for 2 years, by that time I'm sure I can find the GT500 at MSRP.I will get a 2021 or 2022 model when the ADM dies off. I love the A10 in my GT that I traded in my GT350 for. I loved rolling the gears but I wanted the faster car. With e85, my 18 GT will for sure smoke a GT350. Now that the GT500 is officially a DCT 7 speed, I am all in. Going to get back into a Shelby.
Yes, when I sold the GT350 I said part of the reason was justifying the payment for a weekend car when I could go buy a GT for way less and have a faster car. Even with e85, the 18 GT will get smoked by the GT500.
I want a base car not the track pack. All about the 1/4 mile for me.
Lol indeed.Shoulda gone with Rich Christensen.
