Craig’s bracket is bad ass.
I’ve made a lot of 140 plus runs with it on and it’s still on!
Although my plate is getting pretty warped

T-nuts were from Lowes. I probably could have drilled and tapped the two brackets but I made the brackets from aluminum so I felt the t-nuts might be more durable. If I had to do it again, I would have made the inner bracket that fits behind the mesh grill from steel and then drilled and tapped it and not used the t-nuts. Also, the two Z brackets that attach to the bottom of the license plate could be made as a one piece bracket.

I found my license plate bracket to be very sturdy and it only bolts to the bottom of the license plate. The bolt / acorn nuts in the top two holes on the license plate are strictly for aesthetics - the two empty holes looked unfinished for my liking.

I obtained all the parts at Lowes - to include the nuts, bolts, rubber seals added to the brackets and the metal bars to make the brackets. Their hardware section has all kinds of aluminum and metal tubing, bars etc. for the do-it-yourself-er.

That looks really good, and sturdy. Better than the aftermarket ones I've seen.
