You running vacuum/boost reference, or boost only reference with a check valve?
Vacuum/boost ....

You're on drag radials and spinning at 70 mph in 5th gear? Are they bald? Is it wet out? lol
Not bald, not wet. It’s 65 degrees out today so a little cool, but not exactly cold.

Car is a 10 speed, so 5th is still an under drive gear.

Which drag radials are you on and what pressure do you have them at?

Even mine on 11lbs which is over 900 will only spin in 2nd from a roll. 3rd is usually fine

Im on a MT ET Street SS in 305 on a 18" rim. I need to check pressure.... they might have too much air in them.

However there is no way in hell they will hold 3rd on 11 psi as it sits now LOL.

I'll adjust air and see what happens.

I would definitely check pressure. I always have mine around 17psi on the street.
I'm using the MT ET R's 315/50/17

Hey Gimmie11’s where did you tap to get your vacuum boost signal ? Can you show a pic where, I’m trying to see where I need to do it for my boost controller

I used the port on the intake manifold behind the throttle body where the PCV valve (pass side cam cover) was plumbed into and made my own vacuum manifold from hardware store parts.

1 line goes to my boost control solenoid. 1 line goes to my Tial BOV. 1 line goes to my boost gauge sensor.

I only have 1 BOV.

No, they are from Performance Automatic. I think I put the part number on the first post page 1.

Where did you buy most of your hose and fittings from and were you happy with the quality? I bought all my hose from anfittingsdirect but the PTFE is a pain to deal with if rubber will work.

The hose and most of the common fittings (90s, straights, 45s, etc) came from China via Amazon. Some off brand I don't remember at the moment.

The black nylon hose is steel braided and good quality from what I can tell. Everything is holding up nicely at this point.. 0 leaks of any kind and I ran A LOT of new oil fittings/lines/components.

Some of the more obscure parts had to be sourced from Summit like the -10AN Y block and the metric fitting coming off of the oil filter housing.

Got a couple hits in.

There were 35mph winds at the track (just my luck) so they cut it down to 1/8 only. Pissed me off.

Oh well.... here’s one of 2 passes she made on 8 psi boost.

Car should trap at 140 mph or better in the 1/4 on this 8 psi setting.

Full street trim on the 18’s and drag radials.

Got a couple videos I’ll post a little later.

That’s a fantastic start man! Seeing your work has been a real help to me in the Hellion install on my car. Even took a couple of your ideas that I liked better. Thanks for sharing!
