Illuminated door sills

Has anybody ever seen this from ford show parts? http://www.fordshowparts.com/store_...91901&store_id=1&dept_id=1163&product_id=7227

There are actual illuminated door sills specifically for the gt350. Apparently you are able to change the colors on it, even though the car doesn't have mycolor. Has anybody tried these and if so, how does it look?

Very little info. I want a set, but is it hard wired or battery operated? Do I need to cut into my own sills or is this a completely new sill?

You can get those from Alibaba for a fraction of the price. They can custom make any logo you want. 300 for that crap is too much.

Found a posting from a different forum. Guy found instructions and posted this:
“Looks to be a simple job, probably half a day done right. The instructions appear to be directly from Ford. Shows how to get to the back of the fuse box, proper connector to pull and wire to splice.“

Splice in to blue/purple wire and ground the black wore on the 10mm bolt.

You know this because you tried all of them, right? I had them on my RS5 and R8... they looked just fine.

This is from Ford, VIN verified and comes with all required hardware

Do you have any pictures installed? Also, which color did you go with?

I ordered them, still waiting for delivery, I didn't have to select a color as all are available and selectable on the school plate. That being said, I'm going with blue
