3.2 or 3.6 Kenne Bell?
It s a 2.8LC

But my decision is to order the Edelbrock 2.65.

Any ideas at which hp i have to change the engine parts like pistons and rods ect... ?

Is it possible to drive with 800 hp on stock engine with this charger set up ?

I'm still on the fence about the TQ curve that people talk about with the Edelbrock. Does anyone have any dyno graphs to compare the KB and Edelbrock? The few Edelbrock graphs that I've seen the TQ falls off fast! I'm sure It has alot to do with the throttle body restriction but until the new unit is tested I wouldn't pick it.

I talked with my tuning company that sell the Edelbrock kit in germany and they say normaly it shoud be no problem to take the bbk throttle body or the bigger GT350 because it uses on stock the normal GT throttel body so it should fit.

Only option? Gen 5 out for 12-17 cars yet?

10.04 on a manual is moving!

Edlebrock is putting together an awesome sc op.
Looking forward to seeing this build come together.
All thru a Ford Racing 90mm TB and the old inlet design. Would be much faster with Edelbrocks New Modular Inlet and 103mm TB.

pound for pound it makes more torque than Twin Screw blowers. My car Dyno'd 60wtrq more than a stage 1 gen V Whipple and I was in 6th gear vs his 7th. My 7th gear made more torque through a slipping clutch then the stage 1 whipple did. Hell I made more torque at 7000rpm than the Whipple car does at it's peak. so while the curve looks like it tanks, you have to keep in mind that even at it's lowest point, it's still making more torque than a twin screw does

Kona 18 you made 540 rwftlb at peak and 450 at 7000 rpm. Where are you seeing that a whipple Stage 1 2018 only made 450 ftlb at peak?

I had posted this on another thread, keep in mine 7th makes about 25whp and 50wtrq more than 6th does. Hell the. Whipple never even broke 500wtrq

So my 540wtrq peak is 60wtrq more than his 480wtrq peak, and I made it in a lower gear that reads about 50wtrq less. The car Lund tuned made 615whp and 596wtrq on the Edelbrock stage 1, they actually got their test car to hold 7th, so that car made 140wtrq more, all through stock TB and stock airbox

Here are 2 different Dyno's of the gen V whipple

This one is a screenshot of a Whipple Gen V PBD Dyno'd in one of their youtube videos

If you Bring up the Whipple's making 800+whp you will notice they are still making 600wtrq...Where the 2.6 TVS is making much more...

The 2650 is a bad ass rotor pack.

Had VMP release an 18+ kit, I might have a blower car instead of turbo.

Edelbrock is real nice too now that they revised the throttle body flange.

Those are some pretty sad whipple numbers. I have to wonder....how come my 2015 f-150 with a gen 3 whipple made 520 ftlb and 646 rwhp with only the whipple kit and cat back. It didn’t have numerous advantages that the gen3 mustang motor and gen 5 whipple has, yet made 35 more ftlb and 10 or so more hp. Something isn’t adding up here.

Did you have the stage 1 with the stock TB?

No, but it did have the truck motor which is lower compression, smaller cams, worse heads, cast manifolds, no direct injection, the older less-efficient rotors, canned whipple cal, single exhaust, etc....and the tb size will not affect peak torque much.

Well your numbers still sound about right if you had the 132mm TB, most people are so used to seeing 700+ pulls from the stage 2 Whipple kits that they forget most make around 650whp, and less than 500wtrq when you use it with the stock TB.
