Is this normal Transmission (Auto) Temperature?

Maximum temp Range: 93-105 degrees C (200-221 F)

Normal-Spirited driving
City drive and long roads (no highway) (island)

Outside temp: 28-30 degrees C (82-86 F)

Whats the Max temp for a Normal range?

Thanks.

Normal/spirited driving mine is usually between 195-205, I've only seen it higher than 205 during long WOT pulls. Driving lightly it will stay under 190 for a long time

Assuming the transmission oil is routed through the radiator (don't know if this is so but it has been done this way for ages) it would run close to coolant thermostat temperature.

No, our cars have a dedicated transmission cooler. Mounted between the condenser and radiator.

Interesting, maybe testing showed that worked better than the radiator type? I ordered a 6 speed, probably no cooler on that. ;)

It could have both type of coolers...

200-220 perfectly normal. 265 or higher it is getting into hot range.

As far as I remember seeing the trans has an internal thermostat that won't even circulate fluid to the cooler until 190. I see around 200 typically, 205-210 running 80+ down the highway in the summertime.

So here’s my input for today (Jan 31):
2018 EB w/PP
10R80

Outside Temp: 7*
Drive time: 1.5hr
Speed: 60-65mph
Trans gear: 10th
Trans Temp: 100*

The trans temp remained at 100* during the entire drive. Once I got into stop/go traffic (towards end of drive), the temp only went up to 135*.

Sitting idle for 10mins now, it has gone up to 153*, with exterior temp now being 10*.

^ that would be consistent with having only an external cooler and not the kind that also goes thru the radiator...

Fahrenheit or celsius? A bit confused here.
