As it was unseasonably warm here today (mid 60's) I decided to spend the day giving the exterior the works. Wash, clay, machine polish with M205, Jescar Powerlock topped with Collinite 845. My back is killing me but it was worth the effort. Paint is White Platinum Metallic Tri Coat.

I use the same combo. I discovered it from obsesssed garage, curious on what led you to the combo as well?

Also, I’m going to try bead maker on top as a drying aid product. I’ll let you know if it works well with the combo.

I joined the Detailing 101 facebook group last year which has a few knowledgeable detailing pro's that contribute regularly. I kept seeing the Powerlock/845 combo recommended over and over again. First time using Powerlock, hoping it lives up to the hype. Big fan of 845, one product I have used for awhile and it works. Looking forward to reading your impressions of bead maker, I see it mentioned often too.

Reordered it and finally found a non rainy day to try bead maker. On my white car it does make it feel super slick, the shine level is on the level of a good spray wax or more (cant tell shitty weather still). It doesnt make my hand feel dry like some spray wax so thats a plus and definitely worth using.

The above combo with Jes/845 is fantastic, I’ve used the RD beadmaker excusively this past summer, very slick- easy to maintain.
