I was just wishing we could see more applications for the tech. Those subframes, built by BASF in conjunction with Magna, were for the Fusion (of all cars). They were never used on production cars, only a design/engineering exercise to investigate potential production. You won't see that technology on an S550.
I think those numbers were real, but Ford is scrambling to increase the HP IMHO.So what do you guys think, this thread originally leaked back in Aug with 720hp and weighing 4200+, think that’s what it’ll be, better/worse?
Hilariously stupid considering Ford's strategy and that sports cars/coupes are fairly high margin. Those subframes, built by BASF in conjunction with Magna, were for the Fusion (of all cars). They were never used on production cars, only a design/engineering exercise to investigate potential production. You won't see that technology on an S550.
4000 non carbon 3900 carbon, 755 horsepower at least. I think closer to 767 for 100 more than the last gen. I do not think it will weigh 4200.So what do you guys think, this thread originally leaked back in Aug with 720hp and weighing 4200+, think that’s what it’ll be, better/worse?
my exact feeling. 755 and just over 4K base and 3900 for CF package.4000 non carbon 3900 carbon, 755 horsepower at least. I think closer to 767 for 100 more than the last gen. I do not think it will weigh 4200.
