I really hope that is not an original Boss351...that got mutilated. If it's a 'tribute', then fine, do what you will.

Ok this was a cool one. Saw this and had to park next to it of course. He was loading up his groceries when I walked out of the store so I said "Nice car". Older guy who was very nice and willing to put up with me for a minute.

He said it's a 64 1/2. All original except it was repainted around '80 and it's been reupholstered. It's very clean.

He complimented my car as well but didn't ask too many questions, just recognized the similarities. I think he's pretty familiar with the modern car already. He did say he was jealous of the tech on mine though. I told him what I truly dream of is his car, but with all the modern stuff on mine.

He said he drives trucks for dealers and showed me a pic of a Bullitt he recently moved from one dealer to another for someone. I think I surprised him a bit when I said "Oh nice, a Bullitt!" Don't think he thought i'd know what it was.

Seeing the two side by side really highlights the similarities in the body lines. Although, yours looks quite a bit stouter (not the word i wanted to use, but knowing how some of the forum posters here will respond this is the best i could come up with) from this angle. It makes the older model seem much smaller. And those wheels look TINY!

Yeah it's funny, having come from a '16 Focus I thought the hood on my Mustang was quite big and long, and while the modern car is overall I think a little bigger/wider, or like you said, more stout, the hood on the '64 seems even longer to me.
