Why not? As long as they're supplemental motors to a V8, not replacing a V8, I think it would be a win-win. Less stops at the pump and more torque at low rpms
I would definitely be intrigued. But do you think this platform/chassis can handle that much low end torque? I’m already imagining the SC V8 being to much for the rear wheels.

Honestly, I wouldn't even mind the 4100lb curb weight if this rumor is true... it would explain the weight gain, but would TOTALLY pay off

they should leave the v8 alone,and if they want to do electric let it be its own monster.

Just think of it like an additional blower.

Would be a triumph of engineering if they’ve got the electric motor charged by the gas engine...

throw some of that torque to the front wheels and that's going to be an ass beater. Ford will be like "come getter boys"
I wish/hope that’s how it’s designed but my guess is it would/will be sandwiched between the trans and motor and will go only to the rear wheels.
