Anyone here work in auto body and have an idea of what it would cost to repaint my front bumper and hood and how much of a hassle it would be? The car is grabber blue and has some decent chips and road wear from the highway, I'd like to get it repainted and have a protective film installed this time

Front bumper is probably around $3-600 alone, depending on the shop you take it to. No idea on the hood, but probably around the same or a bit more because of the size.

I'm thinking about the same for my front bumper due to the number of chips all over it, but probably do an aftermarket one instead.

edit » or get a prepainted one and swap your plastic parts over. $350 for a grabber blue (assuming these are all take-offs)

Definitely get a quote from Mark Shillington at Coulter Collision 12th St and Camelback. They painted my over the top Super Snake stripes including spoiler and strut brace and also painted my S197 Grabber Blue front bumper back in 2016. Great work, good prices, in business since 1923, lifetime warranty (for real, someone just had their truck repainted for the 3rd time under warranty - pre-clearcoat days).

Painting the Grabber Blue bumper was ~$300 IIRC. That was with me removing it from the car and removing attached parts and them reinstalling everything and back on the car. Don't know how much more for them to do the removing. I wanted to learn the process but not scratch the thing after painting. LoL
