Is that your case or are you talking in general? No one can answer me that question at the dealers, it's insane.

Edit: I see you have a manual transmission therefore that's normal

Not necessarily "normal".
MY2019 has sensors on shifter / gears. Therefore ECU knows, when gear box is in neutral.
It could be possible to remotely start the car, which is in neutral with hand brake engaged.

But as I heard, the real problem is EU legislation. So we will not see this function soon on our side of the pond.

Damn.. was kinda wishing for that feature, what a bummer.

Thanks for the answer.

2019 GT, PP/401A, A10. I have remote start and use it every morning going to work and evening when coming home. You can start the car via the FordPass app as well.

I wonder if those in EU can use OBD2 and forscan to enable auto start?

One of my colleagues has bought a 2019 auto vert and I can confirm that the auto start is not available in Europe, nor it was for the 2015-2016-2017 model (with the 6-spd auto trans).

Just FYI, the ignition key in EU is different from the one in US, so it is not a thing just regarding the trans nor the ECU. It cannot be enabled using OBD2 w/forscan neither....

Get used to it. We have been getting the short end of the stick with the S550 since its introduction in '15. :frown: The only advantage ( european customers) I can readily see we get as a standard feature, stiffer suspension compared to stateside stangs.
